Oncology and hematology
Charité Comprehensive Cancer Center was founded in 1977. It receives over 3,500 new patients annually. The clinic employs a team of 23 oncologists. The Department of Radiotherapy is equipped with three linear accelerators, two simulators, a treatment planning system, a high-dose brachytherapy device, and a radiosurgical system.
Hadassah oncologists utilize the following treatment methods:

- external beam radiation therapy;
- interstitial brachytherapy.

In 2017, the Bone Marrow Transplant Department successfully passed the FACT JACIE audit, an international accreditation body standards in bone marrow transplantation and cell therapy.
Neurosurgery
Doctors at Hadassah’s Neurosurgery Department perform complex surgeries on the brain and spinal cord. It was the first in Israel to perform catheterization of a newborn’s brain through the umbilical cord immediately after birth. The department uses microsurgical techniques, neuronavigation systems, and intraoperative neurophysiological diagnostics.
Orthopedics
The Orthopedic Surgery Department at Hadassah Medical Center is recognized by CAOS International as a reference hospital for computer-assisted orthopedic surgery. Local physicians use arthroscopy and arthrography methods for joint diagnostics. The department performs joint replacement, reconstructive surgeries, treatments of sports injuries, and orthopedic tumors management
Pediatrics
The Pediatric Department serves approximately 25,000 children annually. Hadassah pediatricians apply innovative protocols aimed at minimizing stress in young patients.
