Kyiv Medical Center Dialysis Plus urgently needs help

War

The war in Ukraine continues. Due to the barbaric actions of the army of the Russian Federation, thousands of civilians were killed, houses, kindergartens, schools, hospitals were destroyed. A huge number of people have lost their homes, the situation in the cities surrounded by the troops of the invaders is close to a humanitarian catastrophe.

It is especially difficult now for people who need constant treatment. For patients with renal insufficiency, the absence of hemodialysis equates to death. Kidney failure is a disease in which a person’s kidneys are unable to purify the blood of waste products.For such patients, permanent hemodialysis (blood cleaning with special equipment) is the only chance for survival.

At the Dialysis Plus Medical Center in Kyiv, 49 people with kidney failure are currently being treated. The doctors of the clinic do their best to provide them with medical care in full. However, due to problems with the supply of medicines and consumables, the work of the center, as well as the lives of patients, were in jeopardy.

MedTour company organizes assistance to the Dialysis Plus medical center and encourages all those who are not indifferent to join. Together we can save dozens of lives.

To ensure normal operation, the Dialysis plus center needs the following consumables:

  • Acid concentrate for hemodialysis – 300 cans of 10 liters per month;
  • Bicarbonate cartridge – 500 pieces per month;
  • Blood dialysis lines for D Broun Dialog+ devices (600 per month);
  • Fistula needles, arterial and venous 16G (600 per month);
