• Determine the exact location of mutated cells;
• Assess the nature of the tumor (benign or malignant);
• Detect metastases;
• Provide information on the presence of relapses and the effectiveness of the therapy;

An innovative heart study at the nuclear therapy Center:

Cardiac scintigraphy (a non-invasive procedure using a contrast agent) at Medipol is performed in a specially designed gamma camera. There are only 3 such high-tech systems for cardiac scintigraphy in Turkey, one of which is equipped in Medipol.
