Mitral valve prolapse treatment
Mitral valve prolapse is the collapse of the valve during contractions (systole phase) into the left atrium. In most cases, this is a congenital anomaly of the valve of the human heart. It is found in 2.4% of all people worldwide.
If valve prolapse is left untreated, the risk of mitral regurgitation (blood goes back to atrium) increases. In this situation, complications may occur in the form of life threatening condition — heart failure.
Diagnostics: echocardiography, chest x-ray, ECG, stress test, coronary angiography.
Treatment: drug therapy, plastic or valve replacement.

Patient reviews
I was surprised because of the prices here! I did coronary stenting in this hospital and prices here are almost 20 times lower as in Germany! That's crazy, because the hospital was very modern and doctors have a lot of experience. I am very thankful that the medtour team recommended this hospital for me. I got picked up at the airport and transferred straight to my room in the hospital. I had always an English speaking nurse and my doctor could talk English fluently too! I wouldn't be able to organise my trip to Ukraine myself so fast, as medtour did it. Thank you a lot!
