The clinic is located in the heart of the Black Sea region of Karadeniz – far from the many hotels and tourist areas. Here patients can comfortably undergo diagnostics and treatment overlooking unspoiled nature near the sea.

The architecture of the clinic was designed according to international quality standards of medical care. Patients are treated in single rooms equipped with everything necessary for comfortable stay far from home.

The clinic’s infrastructure is spread over 7,000 square meters. The center is equipped with modern medical equipment, with the ability to simultaneously hospitalize 60 patients.

Structure of the hospital

The hospital consists of 25 wards and 4 high-tech operating theatres. This allows the patient to get the whole range of diagnostic and therapeutic measures under one roof, without extra travel and waiting in lines.

Department of Urology

The Department of Urology treats adults and children. All kinds of pathologies of the urinary tract are treated here, special attention is paid to benign and malignant tumors.

Male infertility, urolithiasis, Peyronie’s disease, benign and malignant tumors of the bladder, prostate and kidneys, as well as erectile dysfunction are treated here.

For surgical treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and adenocarcinoma the Da Vinci robot is used, manufactured in the USA by Intuitive Surgical.

The advantage of this treatment is:

  • Minimally invasive intervention through small incisions the size of a small coin and, as a result, a good cosmetic effect,
  • Fast rehabilitation period and return to the preoperative lifestyle,
  • Lower risk of complications (<1%),
  • Possibility to remove the tumor in places that are difficult for the surgeon’s hands to reach.

Department of Neurology

The Department of Neurology works together with the departments of Cardiology, Endocrinology, Nephrology and Rheumatology, thus ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of various diseases.

  • Alzheimer’s disease and other memory disorders,
  • Dementia,
  • Epilepsy,
  • Stroke,
  • Neuromuscular disorders.

Neurosurgery Department

Here patients are operated on the brain and peripheral nerves. Both adults and children are treated here.
Liv Hospital Samsun is fully equipped to perform complex operations on brain tumors. Histopathological examinations of the removed tumor samples are performed in our in-house laboratory.

The results are discussed at a weekly meeting of doctors with surgeons, medical oncologists, radiotherapists and specialists in related fields.

As part of the meeting, additional treatments – chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc. – are considered. This makes it possible to develop the most optimal therapy plan for each individual case.

To reduce the risk of complications, a computerized electrophysiological monitoring system is used during surgery. It allows to save important functional areas of the brain from unwanted damage.
