HM Hospitales is a network of hospitals in Spain. In total, HM Hospitales unites seven clinics located in Madrid and eight in other cities of the country. The main areas of HM Hospitales: cancer treatment for adults and children, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology and orthopedics.
In 2018, 5 clinics from the 7 HM Hospitales group took top positions in the ranking of the best private clinics in Spain, which is organized by MERCO Medical Reputation Monitoring Organization.
HM Hospitales uses the latest equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer
For example, they use the first PET-MRI device from Siemens in Spain. Annually, the clinic has 26 thousand operations and 648 thousand radiological studies, as well as 5,400 deliveries.
Neurosurgery in the center is developed at a very high level. Polestar N30 MRI technology is available at HM Hospitales to monitor tumor removal in real time. Only 9 hospitals in the world use this technology.
Thanks to its use, 96% of the entire tumor area is removed. Without using this apparatus, only about 68% of the tumor could be removed and the patient would need additional surgical intervention.
HM Hospitales specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal sarcoma, lymphoma, cancer of the skin, breast, lungs, stomach and intestines.
Hospitals use the latest Elekta VERSA-HD linear accelerator. This device allows to destroy cancer cells in fewer sessions and reduce harm to the health of the patient.
