How is stomach cancer operated on in Turkey?

In accordance with international protocols, surgical treatment is performed at the initial stages of gastric cancer:

1) Endoscopic tumor removal — performed at the initial stage, when the tumor has not yet spread beyond the gastric mucosa.

2) Partial gastrectomy — only the part of the stomach where the tumor is located, nearby tissues and lymph nodes are removed.

3) Total gastrectomy — complete removal of the stomach with lymph nodes and attachment of the small intestine to the esophagus.
