Ependymoma treatment
This is a rare type of cancer of the ependyma cells of cerebrospinal fluid system. Treatment success is 2 times higher in patients in whom the tumor was surgically removed. Using neuronavigation equipment and robotic neurosurgery, more ependyms became operable. Gamma, cyber-knife and TrueBeam devices increased the accuracy of exposure.
