Diagnosis of sigmoid colon cancer includes: a blood test for tumor markers to distinguish a benign tumor from a malignant tumor, a colonoscopy with a biopsy, and CT of three cavities (chest, abdominal, and pelvic organs) to determine the stage of development of sigmoid colon cancer.
