Bone Marrow Transplantation Center (BMT)

The department is accredited by the International Society of Cell and Gene Therapy and the European Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (JACIE). This accreditation confirms the high quality standards of medical care and patient care.

The department meets the requirements of the Ministry of Health of Turkey for bone marrow transplantation and is the first TCM center to be inspected and opened in accordance with the regulation on Quality and Safety of Centers for Human Tissues and Cells.

The transplant center is equipped with a HEPA filtration system, which effectively cleans the air of pathogens. This protects patients from the development of infectious diseases during treatment. In all wards, the air conditioning system conforms to ISO 5 standards. Normally, this air purification system is installed in sterile operating theatres.
