How do they perform hair transplants and treat alopecia in Lémanic?

    Autologous hair microimplant transplant (MICA®)

During 20 years the specialists of the Lémanic Clinic have performed more than 3000 successful hair transplants. One of the methods used in the clinic is MICA®. It consists of extracting the patient’s own hair follicles under local anesthesia from areas unaffected by alopecia for re-implantation where there is a lack of them. Most often, donor hair follicles are taken from the occiput and temple areas.
Doctor takes the follicles with the help of special high-precision tools that allow you to remove the hair implant, while maintaining its ability to grow. As a result, up to 3000 micro-implants can be transplanted without surgery in one procedure, while surgical transplantation is more traumatic and often leaves scars.

    REG 21

A team of specialists from the Lémanic Clinic has developed a program for the treatment of alopecia and hair restoration — REG 21. The principle of REG 21 is to increase the life cycle of hair by stimulating the formation of capillary vessels around the hair follicle.
To do this, we introduce stem cells derived from cellular tissue fragments. They are obtained directly from the hair part of the patient’s head. These tissue fragments consist of cells, proteins and growth factors that regulate cellular functions and participate in tissue regeneration. These different structures are re-introduced into specific areas of the scalp to enrich the cells that regenerate the hair.

    Capillary Light Therapy

In addition to hair follicle transplantation or as a monotherapy, patients can undergo medical light therapy. It is a painless and non-invasive procedure that prevents hair loss and strengthens the hair follicles.
Powerful cold spectrum electroluminescent diodes affect the scalp and stimulate the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the main energy supplier to cells. Stimulating cell respiration improves the metabolism of follicles and promotes their regeneration.

    BHI® — biocompatible hair implants

If the patient does not have the required number of own donor hair follicles and the MICA® method is not effective, the BHI® biocompatible hair implant transplant can be offered without surgery.
This exclusive technique was developed by leading experts in hair transplantation at the Lémanic clinic. It is based on the transplantation of artificial hair, which does not differ from natural hair in physical and chemical properties. This means that the risk of rejection and allergic reactions is minimal.
Bio-compatible hair implants. available in more than 20 colors and 3 configurations: smooth, wavy and fluffy.
