The Institute of Cell Therapy (ICT) began in 2003 as a biotechnology company. Now, this large medical association includes a cell therapy clinic, a cryobank for stem cell storage, a research institute, an anti-aging and regenerative medicine clinic.

The medical centre specialises in the production, clinical application and storage of all types of stem cells.

The Institute’s treatment protocols are based on 40 years of research in the field of cellular and regenerative medicine and are authorised by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Since 2014, the Institute of Cell Therapy has been accredited by the International Organisation for Standards (ISO) in accordance with ISO 9001:2008.This is proof of the high quality of medical services and care.

The centre sees patients from all over the world. The centre’s services are used by people from European Union, Commonwealth of Independent States, UAE. Medical staff speaks Russian, Ukrainian and English. An interpreter can be provided for the entire duration of treatment.

    Benefits of treatment in ICT

    Pioneering technologies

    ICT specialists have authored more than 30 patents and developments in stem cell therapy and cryopreservation of biological tissues.

    Research and implementation of new technologies are carried out in the Science Centre, which is part of the Institute of Cell Therapy. Here, the properties of placental stem cells are studied and clinical trials of new cellular preparations are carried out.

    Skilled staff

    The Institute of Cell Therapy is directed by Nikolai Sokolov, MD, PhD, a senior researcher in regenerative technologies and cell therapy. The doctor has over 35 years of clinical experience, including 15 years as head of ICT.

    Galina Lobintseva is director of the Cryobank of the Institute of Cell Therapy. In the 70’s — 90’s she conducted research in the Laboratory for Preservation and Cryopreservation at the Institute for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

    The Institute has implemented quality management system (QMS). The system ensures that all work of medical and administrative personnel is strictly regulated and aimed at providing high quality medical services.

    Medication in comfort

    Two modern clinics are quietly located in the centre of Kyiv. Patients are accommodated in spacious Superior rooms with an orthopaedic double bed, TV, and en-suite bathroom for the whole period of treatment.

    The Institute of Cell Therapy has its own restaurant, which provides special dietary meals adapted to the individual wishes and peculiarities of our clients. The menu is adapted to the cultural and religious aspects of the patients’ diet.

    The basic price of treatment includes transfer from the airport to the clinic, accommodation, three meals a day, escort and interpreter services, visa assistance.

    • In 2018, the Institute of Cell Therapy conducted an active phase of clinical trials on the use of stem cell-based biologics. Their use has been approved for more than 10 different diseases.
