Svyatoslav Denisov is a cardiac surgeon, doctor of the highest qualification category, head of the Center for Emergency and Interventional Cardioradiology at Feofaniya Clinical Hospital. Dr. Denisov makes a great contribution to the development of medicine in Ukraine. He was the first in the country to perform the following surgical operations:

• Simultaneous angiography of the vessels of the heart and brain through the distal transradial access (through the radial artery of the forearm);
• Rotablation of a calcified coronary vessel with subsequent placement of a coronary stent through a distal transradial approach (an operation that allows the surgeon to eliminate the calcified plaque right at the site of its formation in a minimally invasive way);
• Rotablation in stent restenosis followed by angioplasty with a drug-eluting balloon without the use of additional stents through a distal radial approach (a procedure that is used to widen a narrow section of a stent placed in a vessel);
• Recanalization and angioplasty of vessels of the lower extremities through transradial access;
• Endovascular prosthesis of the abdominal aorta according to the CERAB method using the Dominus Braile aortic prosthesis (Brazil);
• Endovascular replacement of the thoracic aorta with a Navion Medtronic prosthesis (USA).

In addition to medical practice, Dr. Denisov is actively engaged in scientific activities, participates in specialized conferences and congresses.
