Dr. Sait Öztürk was born in 1982. He began his medical education at Marmara University in Istanbul and then completed his specialization at the Neurosurgery Clinic of Fırat Medical University. Dr. Ozturk, after completing his training within the TÜBİTAK project to support young scientists at Harvard Medical School in the USA, practiced under the guidance of Professor Ron L. Alterman in the field of surgical treatment of movement disorders, functional neurosurgical interventions and epilepsy surgery.
After that, Sait Ozturk returned to Turkey and started working as a specialist in the Department of Neurosurgery of the Faculty of Medicine, Firat University. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2020. Dr. Öztürk has participated in 86 international and national scientific studies, received 5 awards in the field of medical science, edited 3 books and 9 book chapters, and was an invited speaker at numerous scientific meetings.
