Oleg Kravets, Candidate of Medical Sciences, currently works in the Department of Head and Neck Tumors of the National Cancer Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The doctor performs unique reconstructive surgical interventions for patients who have undergone surgery to remove malignant tumors of the oral cavity and pharynx. He uses innovative surgical techniques, in particular the reconstruction of the oral cavity and pharynx using visceral grafts.

Such operations are performed exclusively by highly qualified and experienced surgeons in leading clinics in the world. This treatment allows patients to avoid the installation of a tracheostomy and the prospect of tube feeding. In fact, reconstructive surgery gives them the opportunity to maintain a high quality of life after struggling with a serious illness.

Another outstanding achievement of Oleg Kravets is the introduction of a unique technology into practice. This is the reconstruction of defects in patients suffering from cancer of the oropharynx, root of the tongue, palate, cheek tissues, using a fragment of the colon.
