Michail Khizhnyak – neurosurgeon of the highest category, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Doctor of Ukraine. For many years he has been the head of the department of minimally invasive and laser spinal neurosurgery with an X-ray operating room at the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

Over the years of clinical practice, Dr. Khizhnyak has performed many successful surgeries on the spine and spinal cord. He is fluent in both standard and modern endoscopic and microsurgical treatment methods.

Dr. Khizhnyak is active in scientific work. He is the author of 5 monographs and more than 200 scientific papers. Michail works closely and exchanges experience with colleagues from Germany and Israel. His main professional interest is the development and implementation in everyday clinical practice of modern minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of patients with various pathologies of the spine.
