Prof. Dr. Guido Gerken: Director of the Clinic for Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UK Essen for 20 years. Prof. Gerken headed various DFG projects, also in collaborative research centers and clinical research groups, in particular as spokesman for DFG-KFO 117 (living liver donation).
