Alexey Kononenko, Candidate of Medical Sciences, currently works as the head of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Oncology of the National Cancer Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The doctor performs unique reconstructive surgical interventions to recreate the bladder and ureters, owns laparoscopic, endoscopic and transurethral technologies.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Kononenko is engaged in scientific activities, the scope of his scientific interests is damage to the ureters in cancer patients and methods of eliminating this problem with improving the quality of life.
