He was a pioneer in the field of bilateral knee and hip replacement, meaning the replacement of both joints in a single session. He was the initiator of unipolar replacement (partial knee replacement) and carried out exclusive work on fractures in joint replacement. Dr. Marya also introduced computer-assisted joint replacement. Over many years of practice, the doctor has performed more than 15,000 joint replacement surgeries, including knee, hip, shoulder, and joints of the toes and fingers.
