Oksana Averianova is the director of the “Ailaz” medical center, an ophthalmologist of the highest category, a candidate of medical sciences.
Dr. Averianova graduated from the Odessa Medical Institute in 1978. After that, until 1980, she worked as an intern at Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Odessa.
From 1980 to 1991, Oksana Averianova worked at the Filatov Research Institute of Eye Diseases (Odessa), as a doctor, then as a junior and senior researcher in the department of onco-ophthalmology. In 1990, she defended her dissertation on the topic “Differential diagnosis of malignant and pseudotumors of the orbit.” She specialized in the diagnosis and surgery of orbital and eye tumors, eyelid plastic surgery and lacrimal duct pathologies.
From 1991 to 2001, Dr. Averianova worked abroad as an ophthalmologist at the Central Eye Hospital in Tripoli (Libya), and then headed the outpatient department of the eye hospital in Zouara (Libya). Her specialties included surgery for lacrimal pathology, strabismus, orbital trauma and tumors, as well as plastic surgery of the orbit, eyelids and conjunctival cavity.
Since 2002, she has worked as an ophthalmologist at the 1st City Clinical Hospital in Kyiv. Since May 2004, she has been working at the “Ailaz” medical center.
