About doctor Menashe Zaarur

Menashe Zaarur is a famous Israeli neurosurgeon, head of the neurosurgical department of the Rambam medical center. He teaches neurosurgery at the Faculty of medicine of the Technion university in Israel.

Over the years the professor has performed thousands of operations to remove benign and malignant tumors of the brain and base of the skull, as well as the spinal canal and spinal cord. He is engaged in the surgical treatment of injuries and diseases of the spine, cerebrovascular pathologies.

Dr. Zaarur was the first in Israel to apply MRI-focused ultrasound MRgFUS using ExAblate Neuro technology to treat patients with essential tremor and movement disorders. Together with colleagues and medical engineers, he developed a unique neuronavigation system that is still used in all Matronix surgical systems.

The professor is engaged in active research activities. More than 130 scientific publications belong to his authorship.
