About doctor Frank Gansauge

Frank Gansauge is an experienced German immunologist and professor of medical sciences. He studied medicine in Tübingen and Cardiff. Dr. Gansauge has worked as a physician assistant in the first surgical department of the University Hospital Ulm since 1992. Then, for two years, he headed the day hospital and research laboratories there.

In 2000, he received a master’s degree in oncologic surgery with chemotherapy. Then the doctor studied at the University of Ulm. In 2002, Dr. Gansauge founded LDG – Dr. Laboratories. Gansauge, where he focused on the treatment of cancer with dendritic cells.

Together with professors Bertram Poch and Michael Schwarz, he directs the GPS Center for Oncological, Endocrine and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Neu-Ulm. He is a visiting professor at Liaoning University of Technology (China) and Belgrade Medical University (Serbia). He is also a professor at Shanxi University of Biological Sciences in China. He is the author of more than 160 scientific publications. The doctor is a reviewer of renowned scientific journals and co-editor of the journal Langenbeck Archives of Surgery.
