• 2001-2007 – Senior physician and head of the Stem Cell Transplantation Unit in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the University Medical Center Göttingen;
• 2002 – Professor in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the University Medical Center Göttingen;
• 2007 – Associate Professor at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen;
• 2007-2017 – Deputy Chief Physician and Head of the Stem Cell Transplantation Unit in the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Asklepios St. Georg Clinic in Hamburg;
• Since 2017 – Chief Physician of the Clinic of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation Helios Hospital Berlin-Buch.

Scientific experience of the doctor:

• Until 2016 – Lecturer at the Asclepius School of Medicine.
• Permanent teaching position as professor at the University Medical Center Göttingen. Specialty: internal medicine, with the main emphasis in teaching on hematology and oncology.
• A frequent guest and speaker at scientific congresses, symposia and conferences, where he has given many lectures.
