Dr. Alessandro Aiuti is the Vice Director of Clinical Research at the Institute of Gene Therapy, Professor at the Vita Salute San Raffaele University, Head of the Group in the Department of Pathogenesis and Therapy of Primary Immunodeficiencies, and Head of the Department of Pediatric Immunohematology.
Dr. Aiuti treats various hematological pathologies in children. He is engaged in scientific work, conducting research on the application of gene therapy and the use of stem cells. Dr. Ayuti has contributed as a researcher of HSPC-based gene therapy drugs for the treatment of rare genetic diseases of the immune system, congenital metabolic disorders and other blood diseases.
